Ahmad Abokhamis is a double-board-certified neurologist at Knight Neurology, providing comprehensive neurology care to adults living in and around Rockledge, Florida, and throughout Brevard County. Dr. Abokhamis was born and raised in Syria where he began his career at Damascus University- earning his medical degree. After graduation, Dr. Abokhamis moved to the United States and enrolled at The State University of New York (SUNY) Buffalo. There, he completed an internship, an adult neurology residency, and a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology.
Dr. Abokhamis proudly holds membership in several professional organizations, including the American College of Physicians, the American Association of Neurology, and Syrian American Medical Society. As a neurologist, he offers a full suite of outpatient services, including diagnosing and treating epilepsy, neuropathy, migraines, and more. Dr. Abokhamis is friendly, approachable, and speaks English and Arabic fluently. Outside of work, Dr. Abokhamis enjoys staying active. He regularly runs, swims, and plays soccer.
