Dr. Ahmad Abokhamis is a double-board-certified neurologist at Knight Neurology, where he provides comprehensive neurological care to adults throughout Rockledge and Brevard County. He is passionate about caring for the local community and is committed to helping patients receive high-quality neurological care close to where they live and work.
Originally from Syria, Dr. Abokhamis earned his medical degree from Damascus University before moving to the United States to continue his medical training. He completed his internship, adult neurology residency, and fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at The State University of New York at Buffalo.
Dr. Abokhamis provides a full range of outpatient neurological services, including the diagnosis and treatment of migraines, epilepsy, neuropathy, and other neurological conditions. He believes in building strong relationships with his patients and takes pride in serving the Brevard County community with compassionate, patient-centered care.
He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Physicians, the American Academy of Neurology, and the Syrian American Medical Society.
Known for his friendly and approachable demeanor, Dr. Abokhamis is fluent in both English and Arabic. Outside of the office, he enjoys staying active through running, swimming, and playing soccer.
